🟥🟦 WFC JOB READY PROGRAM 2026

Applications Now Open

Does your 13–15 year old want to build confidence, gain real work experience, and get paid while learning valuable job skills?

The Willaston Football Club Job Ready Program 2026 is now open for applications!

This paid participation program is designed to support local young people who do not currently have part-time employment, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to successfully apply for jobs in the future.



What Participants Will Gain

✔ Real-world work experience
✔ Food Safety Training
✔ Resume development support
✔ Customer service & workplace skills
✔ Time management & responsibility
✔ Build confidence in a supported environment
✔ Opportunity to work on match days in the canteen, BBQ and scoreboard
✔ Payment for participation

Participants will be supported throughout the program by:

Job Ready Coordinator – Amy Ruediger

Canteen Manager – Sarah Cleland

Youth aged 14+ will also receive support to complete a Working With Children Check.



Eligibility

Applicants must:

Be aged 13–15 years

Not currently have paid part-time employment

Attend a compulsory Information & Interview Evening
19 March 2026 | 5:30pm–6:30pm
(with a parent/carer or guardian)

Preference will be given to youth who:

Live within the Town of Gawler or surrounding suburbs

However:

Willaston Football Club members who live outside the area are eligible

Local youth who are not footballers are strongly encouraged to apply

Parent/Carer/Guardian full name (who will attend interview evening)
