🟥🟦 GRAND FINAL EVE – A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Well, here we are… Grand Final Eve!
It’s been a massive week around our football club. There’s been excitement, plenty of preparation and a real buzz around the place as we get ready for the biggest day of the year.
Before tomorrow arrives, I want to personally say a huge thank you to our incredible volunteers.
So much work goes into getting a club to Grand Final day that people never see. From our committee, coaches, trainers, canteen and bar crews, ground staff, junior volunteers and everyone who has put their hand up throughout the year, thank you.
You are the heartbeat of our club and tomorrow belongs to you as much as anyone.
To our members, families and supporters, thank you for being there all season. Tomorrow, we need the red and blue out in force, loud and proud, supporting our teams until the final siren.
To our A Grade and our Netball teams, congratulations on earning the opportunity to represent Willaston on Grand Final day.
Enjoy the moment. Embrace the occasion. Play for each other and know that an entire club and community is standing behind you.
We’ve done the preparation. You've put in the work.
Now it’s time to get the job done.
