The Committee, Members and Patrons of the Willaston Country Music Club have been greatly saddened by the recent passing of Darryl Eckert from Heartland. He was the band’s lead singer, and also played bass and rhythm guitar. The Country Music industry of South Australia has lost an amazingly well respected and talented man, who has a reputation for giving his all and enjoying the journey. We have been blessed with his entertaining performances on numerous occasions over the years and his friendships amid our folk are many. He will be truly missed as he walks the rainbows and sings with the angels. We all pass on sincere condolences to his wife, Gail, and family. Photo courtesy of Ian Fisk. ... See MoreSee Less
