❤️CELEBRATING BEC FOR 300 SENIOR GAMES💙

A huge milestone for one of our club’s most loyal and long‑standing members. This weekend we celebrate Bec Lamont, fondly known as ‘Beety’, for reaching 300 senior games! A testament to more than two decades of commitment to the Donnybrooks.

Joining Willaston in the early 2000s, Beety progressed through her juniors and quickly become a permanent part of our Division 1 and 2 program. Every senior game played has been at the top level, reflecting her steadfast consistency, competitiveness and reliability.

Some amazing career highlights would include receiving Life Membership in 2017 and being a part of six senior 2 premierships. Her achievements also include WNC Club Champion (2019) and BLGNA Intermediate of the Year (2004).

Off the court, Beety has coached, mentored, served on the committee, including time as President, and continues to support the club as our Grants Officer. Her contribution has strengthened Willaston in every corner of the club and we could not be more grateful.

Thank you Beety, for your time, passion, care and choosing Willaston as your second family. 300 games is a milestone built on loyalty, leadership and genuine love for our community. Well done and Congratulations ❤️💙

We’re excited to share that we’ve officially put our recent grant to good use - new netballs and training equipment for our club! 🏐💙❤️

A huge thank you to the Town of Gawler for supporting our players and helping us continue to grow. Your contribution makes a real difference on court and across our community.

We also want to give a special shoutout to Bec Lamont, our Grants Officer, for all your work submitting applications and securing this type of assistance. We’re so grateful for your support and guidance.

Our second round of Buddy Round is here…. where our senior and junior teams come together to build connection, confidence, and club spirit.

This week our senior players will be jumping in to support, mentor, and cheer on their junior buddies at training and game day. And we absolutely love seeing our juniors return the favour by backing their senior teams on game day. It’s the kind of club culture that makes Willaston so strong.
