🏐 MILESTONE CELEBRATIONS 🏐
Over the weekend, our club proudly recognised a number of significant player milestones across both our junior and senior grades.
We extend our biggest congratulations to the following players:

A remarkable achievement and a testament to Ange’s loyalty, leadership, and long‑standing contribution to our club community.

⚠️Update on Tonight’s oval events: Due to the weather, awards will be held in the clubrooms after the twilight A Grade game (approx. 7:00pm – 7:30pm), instead of on the oval. Pizza will be available for purchase. Food trucks available during the football game only.
Embrace the balmy wet weather and let’s play BIG today!! Bring the energy, back each other in and let’s make it another great day for our club!

🏐 CELEBRATING ANGE - 400 SENIOR GAMES🏐
This weekend we proudly acknowledge an exceptional milestone as Ange reaches 400 senior games for the Willaston Netball Club.
Since beginning her journey in 1999, Ange has played exclusively in our senior grades, contributing across Division 2 to 5 with unwavering commitment and professionalism. Her career includes 9 Grand Finals, 4 Premierships, multiple Association and Club Best & Fairest honours, Life Membership, 2011 Club Champion, and 2019 Senior Club Person of the Year.
Beyond her on‑court achievements, Ange has dedicated many years to coaching, shaping players and strengthening our club culture.
Our whole community congratulates Ange on this remarkable achievement and thanks her for her outstanding service, leadership, and loyalty.
We invite you to come support Ange and her Senior 4 team @ 1:30pm court 2, as she reaches a new PB.

We’ve got an exciting change to our weekly netball awards.
For Round 3, we’ll be acknowledging our winners down at the oval at 6:45pm.
Make sure you stick around after your game as we celebrate both last week’s and this week’s award winners. Let’s give everyone the recognition they deserve.
Plus, enjoy the twilight A Grade football, food trucks, and live music happening around the ground — the perfect way to wrap up your Saturday.

🌞 A Super Special ANZAC Day Round 🌞
What a day of great netball, true spirit, and moments that remind us why this round means so much.
Our Inter 1s put out a strong performance playing for the Josh Ahern Cup. Congratulations to South Gawler on being awarded the Cup. This tradition continues to carry an important message about road safety and the responsibility we all share in keeping ourselves and our passengers safe.
Our thoughts are with the Ahern Family, and we’re proud to help keep Josh’s memory burning bright.
ANZAC Day always brings out something special, and our Senior 1s delivered exactly that as they competed for the ANZAC Medal. Incredible efforts from both sides, and congratulations to Aimee from South on being awarded ANZAC Best on Court.
A huge thank you to the Gawler RSL for their contribution to our commemorative bibs. Every team looked incredible, and the spirit they brought to court was something to be proud of.
Well done to all grades across a sun‑drenched day of netball.

Very special day for us as we take on South Gawler, in true spirit of the ANZACS.
What’s happening:
Inter 1s – Josh Ahern Memorial Cup
Minute silence at 10:40am on the oval (with U17 footy)
Best on Court presented post-game following formalities
ANZAC Day Formalities
Senior 1, 3 & 5 will observe a minute silence at 2:00pm on the oval
Senior 1 Best on Court awarded the ANZAC Day Medal after the game
