🩷PINK ROUND🩷

This weekend! Sat May 11th
Our aim is to raise some needed funds for Breast Cancer Research, while also creating awareness of this important topic, so we need your help!

Come along with gold coins and participate in our Pink festivities!
πŸ’—Raffle Prizes - great timing for Mothers Day!
πŸ’—Delicious Pink treats - donuts, lollies and more
πŸ’—Pink Spray for groovy hair styles.

We are playing at home, against Kapunda.

Awareness is empowering and we want all our club members to be exactly that: Empowered.
Here is a snapshot of breast cancer in Australia during 2023:

β€’ The risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer over a lifetime is 1 in 7 for women and 1 in 542 for men.
β€’ It is estimated that breast cancer will account for approximately 28 per cent of all new cancers in Australian women.
β€’ The chance of surviving at least five years (five year relative survival) has increased from 78 per cent in 1990-1994 to 92 per cent in 2014-2019.
β€’ Approximately 80 per cent of new cases of breast cancer are in women aged 50 or above.

It’s a real topic, effecting real people. It pays to be proactive about knowing our bodies, prioritise self examination, knowing what to look for and of course, no delays if anything feels different.

If you would like more, head over the website for information. www.bcna.org.au

This weekend, let’s be Fierce in Pink, as well as our own Red.
See you on the weekend Willaston Fam!
