Round 1 kicked off our 2026 Job Ready Program!
We’re thrilled to welcome 20 young participants aged 12–15 from the club and local community this year. A huge thank you to Town of Gawler for their support in making this program possible!

You’ll see our Job Ready participants around the club during home games, helping out in the canteen, on the BBQ, at the gate, and on the scoreboard.

The goal? To help these young people become confident, capable workers as they step into the workforce for the first time.

Along the way, they’re gaining invaluable skills, including:

* Interview techniques
* Time management
* Communication with supervisors and peers
* Following instructions
* Teamwork
* Customer service
* Attention to detail
* Safe food handling
* Money handling
* …and much more

If you see them around the club, please encourage, support, and be patient as they learn.

Together, we’re growing the next generation of young workers in our community! 💪
