The Willaston Football Club is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and community minded Canteen Manager to lead one of the club’s most important operations for the 2027 football season.
Our canteen plays a vital role in providing a great experience for players, members and visitors while generating valuable revenue that supports our club.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
* Managing the day-to-day operation of the canteen on home game days.
* Ordering stock and maintaining supplier relationships.
* Coordinating and rostering volunteers.
* Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
* Managing stock levels and minimising waste.
* Working with the committee to maximise profitability and improve our food offerings.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
* Well organised and reliable.
* Friendly and enjoys working with people.
* Able to lead a team of volunteers.
* Experienced in hospitality, retail or food service and preparation.
* Passionate about supporting community sport.

A huge thank you to one of our club families Tim Williams from T&K Cleaning services who gave up their weekend to clean the concrete grandstand area at the club.
Armed with pressure cleaners, brooms and plenty of elbow grease, they transformed the area, leaving it looking fresh, clean and ready for our players, members and supporters to enjoy.
It’s people like this who make our club so special. The willingness to quietly volunteer their time, without asking for recognition, is what community football is all about.
