A Comeback for the Ages ππ₯π΄π΅
It still doesnβt feel real, what a comeback, what a team, what a Grand Final.
At 7/22, the story looked written. But this A3 side had other ideas. Scott Thompson dug in when it mattered most with 35 off 64.
Then came Zac East, cool as ever at nine, blasting 55 off 73 with 2 huge sixes and 6 fours. Hayden Moss added a vital 36 off 46, swinging the momentum our way.
With runs on the board, the bowlers took over. Four wickets on Day 1, then two more early on Day 2 set the tone.
Bradley Woodward was outstanding with 4 wickets, Devlin Allford claimed 3 and Hayden Moss backed up his batting with a superb spell of 8 overs, 3 maidens, 8 runs, 1 wicket.
A Grand Final that will be talked about for years, built on belief, resilience and a whole lot of Donny pride.
