Minor Round Premiers Senior Women and U16 Girls earnt the double chance and will play their Qualifying Finals, while our U13 Girls finished strongly in 3rd position and will fight it out in the Elimination Final Well done to all involved ππ

What. A. Night! At the Central District Football Club annual Women's Best and Fairest Awards.
π HUGE congratulations to Dakota Williams for taking out the League Best & Fairest Award! Dakota started her footy career at the Donnybrooks from the very beginning in under 14s. Her first coach was our beloved Louise Palk and from her very first game we all knew she had something special and we know Lou would be incredibly proud of how far she has come.
Dakota was also awarded the Values Award which is voted by her team mates in recognition of upholding the team values.
Also massive congratulations to our other Donnybrook award winners from last night:
β¨οΈFormer U16s coach and Senior Women's Runner Katelyn Rosenzweig taking out the Runner Up Best & Fairest and Leading Goal Kicker Award with a record 27 goals.
β¨οΈ Senior Women's AJ Whichello took out the leading goal kicker award for the Development League and also made her SANFLW League Debut in 2025 kicking more goals on and off field.
β¨οΈ Under 16s Sienna Antony received the Development League Coaches Award and continues to shine as a future star of the Club.
β¨οΈ We acknowledged and celebrated the career of Liz Wilson who has now retired from SANFLW footy and returned to play in our Senior Women's side.
Huge thank you to everyone who helped make the night a huge success including Jay Ljuna for the tunes and Sharni Heereabout for the delicious cookies.
