🟥🟦 WFC Sponsors Luncheon 2026 🟥🟦

Our 2026 Sponsors Luncheon was a wonderful opportunity to recognise and thank the businesses and individuals who stand alongside the Willaston Football Club and play such an important role in our journey.

The day provides a valuable opportunity for networking and fostering connections within our community and we were honoured to welcome Town of Gawler Mayor Nathan Shanks, Deputy Mayor Isaac Solomon and councillor Cody Davies whose continued support of local sport and community organisations is appreciated, as well as BLGFA President Mick Brien.

A sincere thank you to MC Willaston Netball Club president Nat Hill and to our dedicated Sponsorship Co-ordinator Craig O'Malley whose tireless efforts continue to strengthen and grow our sponsorship family.

Thankyou also to Exchange Hotel for catering - the food delicious as always - and to musician Jay Ljuna for the backround entertainment.

To every sponsor and partner of the Willaston Football Club, thank you for your commitment, generosity and belief in our club and our people. Without sponsors, we do not have a football club.

Today we pause to remember our beloved Louise (Lou) Palk on the first anniversary of her tragic passing.

Lou's presence is very much still deeply missed across the Willaston Football, Netball and Cricket Club community.

She gave so much of herself to our club, her family and everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She will always be remembered for her kindness, loyalty, dedication and selflessness as well as her contagious laugh and sense of humour.

Whether she was volunteering, playing, coaching or supporting others, Lou embodied the true spirit of the Donnybrook.

As we remember Lou today, we also hold Nigel, Riley, Alastair, Cameron and the entire Palk family close in our thoughts, and we thank them for sharing such an incredible person with our community.

Forever in our hearts, forever part of our club.

In a world where you can be anything, be like Lou.
❤️💙

🟥🟦 WILLASTON F

What an incredible way to finish our 2026 Willaston Football Club Auskick season! 💙❤️

Tonight we celebrated the end of our 10-week Auskick program, and what a season it has been!

With 76 registered Auskickers, this was the biggest Auskick program our club has ever run! Every week our young footballers developed new skills, built confidence, made friendships and, most importantly, had an incredible amount of fun. the Bachelor's also kept everyone well-fed with their weekly sausage sizzles.

A huge thank you goes to our amazing Auskick Coordinators Tracey, Damian and Isaya, whose enthusiasm, patience and dedication made the program such a success. We are incredibly grateful for the time and energy they invested into our future Donnys.

It was fantastic to see such a wonderful turnout of families at tonight's presentation. Thank you to our incredible volunteers who cooked dinner, our Club President who kept the drinks flowing, and a couple of our Under 13 players (who started their own football journey as Willaston Auskickers) proudly helping to serve meals throughout the evening.

It was a perfect example of what our club is all about. From our youngest players to our junior footballers, volunteers, committee members and families, everyone pitched in to make the night special.

We hope this is just the beginning of each child's football journey and look forward to seeing them pull on the red and blue as they continue to grow through the ranks at Willaston Football Club.

Thank you to everyone who made this season possible.

One In, All In ❤️💙

Last night, members of our Willaston Football & Netball Club community took part in the SANFL Tackle Your Feelings – Anxiety Workshop.

The session provided practical strategies to better understand anxiety, recognise when someone may be struggling, and learn how we can support one another both on and off the field.

At Willaston, we believe that a strong club is about more than football and netball. It's about creating an environment where everyone feels supported, connected and valued.

A big thank you to SANFL's Tackle Your Feelings program for delivering such an engaging and informative workshop, and to everyone who gave up their time to attend and continue building a positive club culture.

Together, we're creating a club where wellbeing is everyone's game. 💙❤️
