Women and Girls who love footy - this one's for you! The first of four Female Umpire Academy Sessions kicks off at Willaston Oval on Monday, December 15 🏉 All welcome, even if you've never played before! No previous football experience is necessary.
Learn to umpire Aussie Rules Footy in a supportive women and girls only training environment 🏉

This is a joint initiative between the SANFL and BLGW aimed at increasing umpire numbers and helping women feel confident stepping into the umpiring space.
The Female Umpire Academy will hold approximately three more sessions in the new year (January, February, and March — exact dates to be confirmed). These sessions are designed to empower and equip women and girls with the knowledge and confidence to support our league across both the men’s and women’s competitions. Participants will also have the opportunity to contribute to their community, stay active, build friendships, and earn some extra money.......sounds pretty good right?
