We are thrilled to announce our first two coaches locked in for the 2026 season!
Damian Gower – Senior One Coach Damian brings a long and successful history of coaching across both senior and junior grades. Most recently, he led our Senior 2s to a grand final and has spent the past two years working closely with our top squad. His understanding of our club’s direction, paired with his ability to get the best out of his players, makes him the perfect fit for the role. Damian and his family have been part of the Willaston community for many years, and we’re excited to see him step confidently into the top job and make things happen!
Jess Earle – Senior Two Coach Jess is a Life Member of our club and brings a genuine passion for coaching and player development. She has held several coaching roles over the years, including coaching Senior Ones in 2022. More recently, she rediscovered her love for the game while leading our Senior 5s through multiple finals campaigns. After stepping in mid-year to assist with Senior One trainings, we are delighted that Jess has committed to coaching our Senior Two team for 2026, as well as supporting across the squad where needed.
Together, Damian and Jess form a coaching duo we believe will be a force to be reckoned with. Our playing group can look forward to a fresh, committed, and exciting season ahead.
There’s plenty more to come, so keep your eyes on this space as we roll out updates for our top sides.
Trials begin this Sunday, 30th November at 9:30am. If you haven’t registered yet, now is the perfect time to join the Willaston Donnybrooks.
