ROUND 6 Donnybrooks. We play at Home this week vs. Barossa NC 💪 and today, we are Bringing Us Together.
We have Indigenous Round, a round for celebrating and recognising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their culture and heritage, and to foster inclusive participation in sport and engage with our communities.
This year marks the first time Netball and Football come together and proudly wear a Collaborative Art piece that tells a story of our club, respect, reconciliation, growth and bringing us together - honouring both past and present.
Thanks to Pat Caruso, Eastern Arrernte man, founder and director of We Create Print Deliver, for your design. @wecreateprintdeliver
Today, all teams will wear Special Bibs on court.
We also have hair scrunchies @hairtiedesign and warm up tops in the same design. @leethomascuy_raywhite @raywhitebarossa Excited to see it all come together.
Acknowledgment to Country hosted with Barossa Netball Club will be held at the courts at 8:25am
Football ceremony will be on the oval at 2pm, before the agrade starts. Netball Seniors 1, 3 & 5 from both clubs will be joining in on the oval also.
