Players, members, supporters, families, and volunteers of the Willaston Netball Club embrace the “Donnybrook Spirit“, which has been passed down to us since 1889 when we were founded by the local clay-pit workers of Willaston.
Willaston Netball Club was first established in 1987. Affiliated with the Willaston Football Club, the Donnybrooks or ‘Donnies’ play as part of the Barossa, Light & Gawler Netball Association.
The strong club history is instilled within us as we all collectively strive for success.
It is a privilege to pull on the Donnybrook colours, as you embrace the feeling of great strength & courage to play with a never give in attitude.
We do this together as players, supporters and members – One In – All In. Success is measured in premierships and achieved as One.
We have had some wonderful success over the years and are looking forward to exciting years ahead for our club.

We welcome and invite all new, past & present players to join the Donnybrooks for season 2026.
Come & Try involves getting some game time to see if you like the game of netball and want to keep playing, while also making new friends and gaining fundamental netball skills.

We are excited to announce our next two coaches locked in for the 2026 season!
Richard Andrews – Senior Three Coach
We are delighted to welcome Richard to Willaston for the upcoming season. Stepping into our in-form Senior 3 side, he has already shown how well he fits within our club values and culture. With a rich history of coaching, which includes recent experience within the BLGNA, Richard will bring fresh ideas, deep game knowledge, and valuable insight that will place our Senior 3 group in a strong position to hopefully take the final steps in their success story. We look forward to seeing what this new addition brings to the team!
Ange Edwards – Senior Four Coach
Ange is a true veteran of our club (in all the best ways!) and will continue leading our Senior 4 team into 2026. Her consistency, commitment, and recent taste of Premiership success has her hungry for more and we absolutely love that energy! As the current benchmark across our senior sides, this team is poised for another big year. No pressure, Ange… but back-to-back would look pretty great on our walls 😜
We fully believe in you and the team driving this group forward.
Well done to our Senior 3 and 4 squad, who have just completed trials. Team selections are now being finalised, and we can already feel that 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for you all.

Right now we have 3 x Senior Coaching Positions available for season 2026 - S5, S6 & S7.
Games are played on Saturday’s, at the corresponding time slots: 3pm, 1:30pm & 12pm.
Training Nights are Wednesdays from 7pm.
We are looking for the right individuals to share your knowledge and experience to very competitive and successful teams.
