Players, members, supporters, families, and volunteers of the Willaston Netball Club embrace the “Donnybrook Spirit“, which has been passed down to us since 1889 when we were founded by the local clay-pit workers of Willaston.
Willaston Netball Club was first established in 1987. Affiliated with the Willaston Football Club, the Donnybrooks or ‘Donnies’ play as part of the Barossa, Light & Gawler Netball Association.
The strong club history is instilled within us as we all collectively strive for success.
It is a privilege to pull on the Donnybrook colours, as you embrace the feeling of great strength & courage to play with a never give in attitude.
We do this together as players, supporters and members – One In – All In. Success is measured in premierships and achieved as One.
We have had some wonderful success over the years and are looking forward to exciting years ahead for our club.

❤️CELEBRATING BEC FOR 300 SENIOR GAMES💙
A huge milestone for one of our club’s most loyal and long‑standing members. This weekend we celebrate Bec Lamont, fondly known as ‘Beety’, for reaching 300 senior games! A testament to more than two decades of commitment to the Donnybrooks.
Joining Willaston in the early 2000s, Beety progressed through her juniors and quickly become a permanent part of our Division 1 and 2 program. Every senior game played has been at the top level, reflecting her steadfast consistency, competitiveness and reliability.
Some amazing career highlights would include receiving Life Membership in 2017 and being a part of six senior 2 premierships. Her achievements also include WNC Club Champion (2019) and BLGNA Intermediate of the Year (2004).
Off the court, Beety has coached, mentored, served on the committee, including time as President, and continues to support the club as our Grants Officer. Her contribution has strengthened Willaston in every corner of the club and we could not be more grateful.
Thank you Beety, for your time, passion, care and choosing Willaston as your second family. 300 games is a milestone built on loyalty, leadership and genuine love for our community. Well done and Congratulations ❤️💙
