Committee Message
Our club thrives thanks to the selflessness and commitment of our volunteers, who tirelessly support every aspect of the Willaston Netball Club (WNC).
2024 was a challenging year, marked by the tragic loss of our Intermediate Two coach, Erin Phillips-Ryder, which deeply affected our community. We are profoundly grateful for the overwhelming support from within and beyond our club. Our thoughts remain with the Phillips-Ryder family.
A heartfelt thank you to our loyal sponsors, especially our platinum partners below:

Your contributions have helped us achieve milestones, including resurfacing our courts and prioritizing junior development. Highlights of 2024 include:
New Club Coach: Steve O’Brien brought fresh ideas and focused on junior and senior growth.
Player Achievements: Several players represented WNC at the BLGNA Country Champs, with notable success in senior and junior grades.
Finals Series Success: Five senior teams and one junior team reached finals, with our Sub-Junior 2 team crowned premiers – a first in this grade for WNC.
Individual Recognition: Multiple players were acknowledged at the BLGNA dinner for their outstanding performances.
Our continued commitment to growth and development is only possible with your support. All sponsorship funding is reinvested to improve WNC and the broader BLGNA netball landscape.
Please review our sponsorship tiers and contact us with any inquiries. Let’s make 2025 another exceptional year together!

Amazing to see Buddy Week underway.
With some thorough planning in the back ground, Stacey Taylor arranged for our seniors to connect with our Junior teams for training this week, which will follow through for game day as well.
Skill sharing, bonding and creating a good culture is really important for our club and it’s with these initiatives, we are able to collaborate together.
Great job to everyone involved. ... See MoreSee Less
